Herbert, “ Zeppo “ was the youngest of the Marx brothers. After doing 5 movies - The Cocoanuts, Monkey Business and Animal Crackers, Horse Feathers and Duck Soup, Zeppo decided that he did not fit in as a straight man in a comedy troupe. He left the group to start a talent management company in Hollywood, and was later joined by Gummo to help run it.
In 1969, Zeppo Marx patented a wristwatch for cardiac patients, from which an alarm would sound if the wearer went into cardiac arrest. One of Zeppo's best movie appearances was "Horse Feathers", where he sang "Everyone Says I Love You", displaying a fine tenor voice used in the Marx Brothers stage hits: Zeppo Marx signed Check. 1972 - col7926
